Dr. Williams grew up in Cleveland Heights, OH but was born in Erie, Pennsylvania. She has two older sisters, one a Doctor of Psychology the other a chemical engineer; and one older brother that is an artist. Her interest in veterinary medicine started at a young age when her first childhood pet "Misty" the hamster passed away. When she was 5 years old, Dr. Williams told her dad she wanted to be a "pet doctor" and save all the sick animals in the world.
Veterinary medicine has truly become a lifelong passion of hers and with the support from her family, Dr. Williams completed her undergraduate and received a BS in Biology at Coastal Carolina University. Shortly after, Dr. Williams graduated with her DVM from Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine on May 10th, 2021. Her special interests are surgery, shelter medicine, dermatology, and pocket pet medicine. Currently, no pets but soon looking to adopt a senior dog at a local animal shelter. One of my favorite hobbies is Axe throwing. On my off days I may do that or go to the movies, visit the zoo or an aquarium, or travel when I can.
